Peter has served as a Strategic Advisor to more than 60 companies who have enjoyed $300 million in growth from his work with them. He leverages his 30+ years of C-Level experience in various industries and markets, working with private equity firms, family offices, private investors, and entrepreneurs. His core competencies include operations, process improvement, new business development, restructuring, and leadership. He is well known for his work in the fitness industry, where he transformed Cybex from a regional brand to a global leader, with distribution in 70 countries and revenues exceeding $100 million. He is a Malcolm Baldrige award finalist, a two-time finalist for Manufacturer of the Year in South Florida, and a trusted leader who twice defeated organized labor. He is passionate about empowering emerging companies to achieve operational excellence and strategic alignment, and to realize their full potential.
Peter’s leadership affiliations include MIT Enterprise Forum where he was Chairperson for 2016 -17 and was previously chair in 2010, The Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association where he served on the Board of Trustees and held the position of Vice Chairman. He has been an active member of YPO/WPO (Young Presidents Organization / World Presidents Organization) since joining the New England Chapter in 1988.
His personal and professional developments include the Wharton Presidents’ Seminar at the University of Pennsylvania, Deming Quality Seminars, Motorola Management Institute, and MIT/Sloan workshops on ERP and Technology in the Corporation. A personal passion is boating, and he has held a U.S. Coast Guard Masters License, 100 Tons to operate passenger carrying vessels.
