Richard S. Chizever. Esq. is a native of Los Angeles, California and graduated from University of California, Los Angeles (U.C.L.A.) with a B.A in economics. After graduation, Mr. Chizever worked in the entertainment industry where he honed his negotiation skills as a personal manager of actors, writers, producers, and directors. Wanting to pursue a degree in philosophy and theology, Richard Chizever received a Master’s Degree in Hebrew Letters from the University of Judaism in Los Angeles, California and both a Masters of Jewish Arts and Rabbinic Ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in New York City. Richard S. Chizever, Esq. received a Juris Doctorate degree from Florida International University College of Law where he graduated Cum Laude. While enrolled at F.I.U. College of Law, Mr. Chizever achieved top academic accolades by receiving a scholarship from the Florida Association of Woman Lawyers; serving as a Florida Bar Foundation Summer Fellow; making Dean’s Honor List during all semesters of matriculation; and being awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Book Award in Negotiation and Mediation. In addition to these many honors, Richard S. Chizever, Esq. competed on his law school’s prestigious trial team and served as the President of the Jewish Law Students Association, as well as was the Social Chairman for Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. While in Law School, Mr. Chizever concentrated his legal studies in the field of family law by interning at the Dade County Bar Association Legal Aid Society which provides family law services for low-income individuals, as well as worked as a law clerk for a prominent family law firm in Miami-Dade County. When admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, Richard S. Chizever, Esq. worked as an Associate at Hall, Lamb and Hall, P.A., a premier litigation firm in Miami, Florida, where he practiced family law and civil litigation. Currently, Mr. Chizever is a member of the Florida Bar Family Law Section, on the Board (and past Executive Board Member) of the prestigious First Family Law American Inns of Court, President of the North Dade Bar Association and a Board of Director of the Broward County Bar Association. In his spare time, Richard S. Chizever, Esq. enjoys the outdoors spending time at River Ranch in his R.V., rides his Harley Davidson and Polaris U.T.V., loves to cook and smoke brisket and beef ribs, and is an avid sports fan as a season ticket holder for the Miami Dolphins, Florida Panthers, and Miami Heat.
